Baulderstone was appointed as builder for the $52.3 million Crown Casino West End Redevelopment project. This represents the fifth consecutive project that Baulderstone has been awarded by Crown Ltd and is testimony to our record of delivery and our strong client focus. This latest project reinforces our focus on being a relationship-based contractor and is evidence of our excellent performance on our previous projects for Crown.

Baulderstone was appointed as builder for the $52.3 million Crown Casino West End Redevelopment project. This represents the fifth consecutive project that Baulderstone has been awarded by Crown Ltd and is testimony to our record of delivery and our strong client focus. This latest project reinforces our focus on being a relationship-based contractor and is evidence of our excellent performance on our previous projects for Crown.

The Crown Casino West End Redevelopment project is a major redevelopment of the gaming, dining, and entertainment facilities located on Level 1 of the western end of the Crown Melbourne complex. The project is one of the largest single projects ever to be undertaken by Crown.

The project was constructed in stages:

• Stage 2A – Construction of new gaming and bar areas
• Stage 2B – Demolition of existing restaurant and installed of new bar and restaurant area over two levels including extensive structural modification.
• Stage 3 – Refurbishment of existing bar area and terrace
• Stage 4 – Demolition of existing gaming and construction of new cage and gaming area, bars, cafe and atrium area as well as the refurbishment of the fully operational Porte Cochere.

The full project scope of works included new escalators, the modification of existing escalators, a new lift, refreshed public and retail spaces, new traditional gaming floor, a new restaurant and bar, new back of house space, three new terraces, new premium gaming space, new and refurbished toilets, new bar and sports bar, new cage and signature club, and enabling works for the above.
