Situated on the Gold Coast beachfront, Baulderstone’s Oceana on Broadbeach construction project has expanded into one of the most luxurious developments on the Queensland coast.
The twin tower highrise project consists of two 15 level reinforced concrete towers, incorporating a total of 98 home units.
Each tower features a rooftop pool and curtain wall ‘sky needles’ as well as what was reputed to be the largest penthouse on the Gold Coast.
The units feature extremely high quality finishes including granite benchtops, marble vanities, timber panelling and leading brand furniture and whitegoods.
From the original raft slab foundation proposal, Baulderstone redesigned the foundations saving both time and money.
The very high quantities of vertical concrete involved in the development led to the decision to redesign using precast concrete blockwork wherever possible.
Both towers were constructed simultaneously with approximately 120 workers onsite. The peak workforce on the project was 180 at the height of construction.
