Baulderstone undertook three stages of development to complete the new Watergardens Supercentre retail complex, which would include a Bunnings Warehouse, Harvey Norman, six other bulky goods outlets, and infrastructure for KFC and Hungry Jack’s.
Completed over 12 months, the 24,000m2 of retail space with 860-space cark park was handed over with zero defects – with a total development area of 83,000m2.
We led the entire project, including all design work and approval responsibilities from town planning drawings. A close working relationship with the relevant statutory authorities, tenants and the owner ensured a smooth design development, documentation and construction process with single point responsibility.
Located north of the existing Watergardens Shopping Centre in Sydenham, the new complex was completed with high quality finishes, including superior specification floor treatments in the Bunnings store.
